What it is and where it's used
The 1785-L40E is an Allen-Bradley CPU from the PLC-5 / 1771 and MicroLogix range. Typical applications: PLC-5 systems with Ethernet networking. The manufacturer no longer sells this part new (discontinued 2014), which is why it is sourced from surplus stock elsewhere in Europe.
