The 1746-NI4 is an Allen-Bradley i/o module from the SLC 500 range. Typical applications: Process signals such as pressure and level. The manufacturer no longer sells this part new (discontinued 2021), which is why it is sourced from surplus stock elsewhere in Europe.

What to check before ordering

• Check the series and revision, and the input range jumper settings
• Processor series and OS series (for example SLC 5/04 OS402), because they affect programming software support
• Chassis slot count and power supply rating against the loaded modules
• Whether the module is fitted with a battery or memory module and what is stored on it
